The Irish Car Market is Unique

The global car market is very confusing right now after the recent economic collapse. Companies that were once thought of as untouchable have seen their profits fall to record lows. North American automobile manufacturers have been hit the hardest because they ignored the warning signs that had been prevalent for the past decade.

Every country has a different car market. Europe for example seems to have more exotic cars than North America. The United States automobile makers seem to be more inclined to produce more cars but at less standard of quality. This mentality is why they are seeing a contraction in their car market.

The Irish car market is different than Europe and other parts of the world. There is not one automobile maker that truly stands out in Ireland so they are essentially free to promote and sell the cars that they want.

This is a welcome change because a lot of countries are only obligated to sell certain cars because they are built within that region. It would be counterproductive do have numerous automobile brands from all around the world to be sold in one area. Some countries do this method and it has mixed results.
